We're back from our camping trip. I've got a gazillion itchy mosquito bites. And, I've got laundry and other post-camping clean-up coming out of my ears. I'm glad to be home! And, I'm anxious to share camping pictures and stories with you. And, I will as soon as I create some semblance of order in our home again.
One thing I'm missing today about camping is the boys keeping themselves entertained. When we were camping they needed very little from me in that department. Now that we're home, they don't know what to do with themselves.
They did just find a dead baby bunny in our front flower beds. (Sad, I know. I'm thinking my dog may be to blame.) So, at the moment they are busy digging a little bunny grave out by the field. The poor baby bunny's demise is buying me a few minutes of peace.
Oh, and Happy first day of summer everyone!
Post camping is always fun, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteThere's a beautiful creek and park just up from Shady Maple called Poole Forge...we were there one day last week for hours! Brady loves playing in the creek...and it's free! We should meet there one day, pack a lunch and let the boys be boys!
Sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI want to take our kids camping soon.
We have only slept in a cabin so far.
Sad about the baby bunny, but cute that it is giving your little men something to do. :)
Being outside is the BEST entertainment...if only it wasn't so terribly hot here!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time.
Can't wait to see and hear all the details.
Enjoy the day
