The Twelve Little Sisters
Our newest arrivals.....
This stage always makes me nervous - They're so little. They need to be kept warm. And, although we keep a screen over the box, I'm afraid our cat will get a little too curious. Fortunately, our dog seems to feel protective toward these little sisters & warns the cat if he's too close to the peepies.

ReplyDeleteWhat cute little chicks. I've often thought that our dog would go wild, quite frankly, if we got chickens, but I have lots of friends who have both and they all survive. Thanks for sharing pics of when they are so fuzzy and sweet!
