I Did It.

Today I finalized and ordered a book compiling all of my blog posts from last year. If you are on Blogger you may have noticed something on there about Blog2Print. I've been wanting to somehow save all my posts in print form and this was a super easy way to do it.

The only downside? It was a bit pricey. The standard rate was $14.95 for a 20 page book, but they tack on an additional 35 cents for each additional page. And, with over 200 blog posts last year I had a lot of additional pages.

I went ahead an ordered it anyway. When I consider how much money scrapbooking supplies cost (a hobby that has gone by the wayside lately) and how much time it would have consumed for me to try to put something together myself, it seemed worth it.

Have any of you put your blog into the printed form? If so, how have you done it? Did you print it out yourself or did you use a website. If so, which one?

Finally, have you seen these?

I love York Peppermint Patties! And, these are M&M size pieces of that delicious Peppermint Patty flavor. They were available at the discount store where I shop and I had to pick up a bag.

Um. Yum! But, they are a little dangerous too. It doesn't seem like you're eating all that many until you look in the bag and realize half of it is gone. Just to warn 'ya!

Have a blessed day! And, Happy first day of Lent!

  1. I have thought many times of trying to print some of my blog, but there is so much by now. I can't imagine how much it would cost. I'm so glad you went ahead and did yours. Please tell us how it turned out and share pictures when it comes:-).

  2. I didn't even know there were services that did that, that's pretty neat. Those M&M's are so good they're bad, haha. I love the Almond Joy ones they have - mouth watering!

  3. I have been wanting to put my blog in to book also...I think I am going to do for my Mommy Piggy Tale post that documented the first 18 years of my life...that one will be a history book, then the others. I feel the same way, a little pricey, but I haven't scrapbooked in a while...not since the last one graduated and I have three more years before the next one, so that would be my scrapbook.

Oh I have seen the mints, but haven't bought them yet...can I stop with just a few???

  4. Oh Karen, I have been wanting to print my blog for awhile now. So glad you did it, can't wait to see how it turns out.
    Have a happy day

    LOVE those BTW!:)

  5. Please keep us posted how your book turns out! I've thought about doing it for awhile also, but wasn't sure because of the price. Can't wait to hear what you think!
Enjoy the rest of your week! Sweet blessings to you!
    Cindy :)

  6. Karen...thanks for stopping by my blog, now you have seen one of my tips on raising boys. We just get in there and take things apart. I am the mechanical one on our union and I am the one who owns the tools. You just get down and dirt with them and enjoy the ride.
Thanks for stopping to comment...and I see your weight is going down..oh, my, I can't seem to get mine to do that, but I am exercising.

  7. Good for you! That is great. I have so many organization projects I want to do. So little time. Thanks for the heads up about the York, I will stay away from them, I think I would eat the whole bag.

  8. What a great idea! I'd love to put my posts into print someday. I'll have to look into that.

I love York Peppermint Patties too. We have a homemade version that is to die for. I'll post the recipe one day. They are so good. I wish my Grandma never taught me how to make them!

  9. what a GREAT idea to print a blog into book - i've never even heard of that before, so I really hope you follow up once yo receive it, I can't wait to learn more!
